Sizing in weaving production serves to protect the warp yarns during the weaving process. Protective sizing agents help the yarn to withstand high mechanical stress during weaving.
A proper pretreatment of textiles is the basis for even and reproducible results in all subsequent finishing processes, such as dyeing and printing.
The quality standards in the textile industry are constantly increasing. Besides level, even dyeings and reproducible color shades textile dyeing also requires good color fastnesses. .
In principle, all types of fibers can be printed in pigment printing. The advantage of pigment printing is that the goods only have to be dried and the binder system crosslinked.
In order to be able to print woven and knitted fabrics by inkjet, they must be pretreated properly for digital printing. This is the only way to achieve brilliant and sharp prints.
The dye groups used in textile printing differ depending on the substrate to be printed on. Reactive printing pastes are applicable for the classical printing of cellulosic fibers.
